Rabbit care

Most people think rabbits need rat care instead of rabbit care. Rabbits need VERY specail care to be happy, healthiey and playful. Rabbits arn't even rodents!! They are Lagomorphs!

Rabbits are just like dogs in their own specail way. When they see you they'll run to you and give you kisses. If your kids want a dog but, you know that your kids coudn't get a dog get them a rabbit! Rabbit arn't rodents and people who just got a rabbit said this "I really thought that he would be like a hamster or gerbil and not do anything" and "Their very playful and just like a dog!" They do need a lot of exercise and love other rabbits and humans company. I own 3 rabbits and I don't recomend them to children onder 7 years old. They make exellent family pets and can belitter box trained witch makes them great indoor pets. But, they also are very flexible if you don't want any animals inside you can buy or make a at least 4 ft long hutch. But, most rabbits do chew everything to keep their teeth from growing to long (The teeth grow 5 inchs long every year) That problem can easily go away if you buy or make wood peices and they will lose intrest in you shoes and funiture. Their are over 90 breeds and mixes to chose from like the 30 pound german gaint to the 1 pound netherlan Dawf. The best apartment rabbit is the English Lop even thugh their large size they are couch potatos. If you do live in anapartmant don't get a small breed because they are very hiper and chew. Fun fact; when rabbits are happy they jump into the air and swing their ears , Legs and head and it's called the "Binky" and they might ZOOM across the room too! My bunnies do that ZOOM and Binky at the same time! :) ;)
