A few weeks ago mommy posted on reading material. She keeps all her pet related books on a book shelf but what to do with magazines? We all know that some magazines are full of fluff and not worth keeping but what about the ones you want to keep? Poor things sit around and get covered with dust or worse. Mommy has a nice way to keep them in good shape and is attractive. She went to a discount store and bought under $5 black plastic magazine holders. Now most people may not like these because they don't match anything or blend in. To fix that 3 sheets of colored felt and a can of spray adhesive will do it. Clean the plastic holders of dust or anything that may be stuck to them. When dry spray the adhesive on the felt and apply to both sides of the holder first, just fold over on its self where the side dips down, then do the front. You want a little overhang on the front to cover the side seams and keep the felt from pulling off. Follow the directions on the can. Mommy used elmers brand which has a dry time of one hour, but to be safe let dry overnight. Now you can put your magazines in them and place on a shelf. Mommy likes dark brown but you can use any color you like and don't be afraid to personalize them. Glitter pens and the like are great. Just don't forget to let this dry before placing your magazines in them. Mommy just uses a label maker but don't let that stop you from having a fun time making something nice, and oh, so you!

Untill next time.....Buck
