I don't like gerbils that much.they are nasty to me! I hate them and people kiss their fur! And one time I held one and it bit me so hard it bled. And it got infected because rodents carry sickness. GET THEM IF YOU WANT A HORRIBLE SMELLING ROOM, GETTING SICK ALL THE TIME, RASHES, AND BLOODY INFECTOINS BECAUSE THEY BITE YOU HARD, AND EVIL BAD DREAMS. Don't get me wrong some people like those side affects of owning a gerbil. But, I do not. |

I didn't mean to be harsh. It's because A gerbil just bit me hard and I was angry. Actully I might get one. I like small pets. I just don't acully like hairless rats I like the rats with fur! :)

Gerbils are nippy if not handled often when young. So are hamsters and mice. Get a rat and you wont have that problem...Hehehe...

i have had a pair of gerbils for about 4 months one of tham has just died today and i want to know if its ok to get another one to keep the original one company or would they fight.

My friend had that problem, you just need to intoduce then correctly, but somtimes they still fight.
