He poured a pan of grease in my dogs food!

I was so mad! Of course the dog got sick. It was our sort of son in law that did it. Well he had to clean up the puke too. We don`t give our dogs table food to begin with but a whole pan of grease!?

A whole pan of grease? That's terrible!

We do that all the time and they love it!

How unusual for a baby to get sick from grease on food.
ours get that regularly. We buy treat kibble and save up grease from bacon, burgers, baked chicken etc and then every night their dinner consists of kibble with grease and canned food heated.

Everyone I know who has dogs does this whats unusual is that your pet got sick.

we have 8 and afew neighbors have six and a few have one. WE intyropduced it to a neighbors pet one day when he came to visit and he was so full.. that teh peopel next door feed grease/oil/fat to their pet too.

we even render down beef suet for a pour over.

We would mix in a scoop of grease with every one of our dogs dry food. It "made their coats shiny" according to my dad. Who knows why your dog got sick. It sounds like she had a lot of grease, and for a dog who's not used to that type of food it's no wonder she got sick.
It bothers me when people assume they can feed my dog tablescraps.

We like to mix a little meat

We like to mix a little meat grease into our dogs food as well. We eased him into it though but I think it keeps him happier.

aspesialy when the dog has not had it allot.. it must have been allot.. cas my german shepared gets sick when u give him surten foods 2... but grease, he does not get sick with it if he has a little..

Why didn't he ask before doing it?

Is this a symptom of a bigger issue?

yes they do love it but you nedd to start out slow when you give it to them at first since they are not use to digesting it but they do love it and it is a good way to make sure that your dogs will eat their food my dog would not eat plane kibble and wet food is expensive so we decided to try the grease and it works

i do it

we dont give them a whole pan of it but every morning we mix some into their food. For a dog that has never had table scraps it will upset them because they are not use to eating it thats all nothing to big they should be fine.
