Harry as been outdoors today for the first time. Harry is a 7 month old male maine coon. Now that he has been neutered and had all injections.
Having spending the morning blocking up all the holes in the garden fence we felt safe to let him out .
At first he was bit unsure but after a few atemps ,running back in too house and out again was soon running under the bushes and chasing leaves blowing around the garden and having a great time.
Here in the UK its the beginning of spring so its getting a bit warmer.
Where we live gardens tend to be compact in size so as not everybody are pet lovers is it best to keep roaming animals like cats indoors or out what do you think .

You my friend, are more responsible than 99% of pet owners. Keep the shots up to date. By keeping kitty in the yard you keep him safe too. You would not want him to eat something that could hurt him in someone elses yard.

Untill next time.....Buck

True, People who let their pets rome end up regreting it when their pet gets hit by a car, eats something bad, gets hurt, or gets lost.

When you first buy a pet (Mostly cats) let them get used to the indoors before the outdoors. With Shasa, she got used to indoors very quikly, but, we only let her play in the backyard where it's fenced in.

We also sometimes bring the dogs with us to my uncle's farm, where my new pony lives.

No maine coon cats are known as gentle giants they are not lap cats they are more like dogs they like to follow you and hang out with you they are good with children and other pets.
Look them up on this site if you want any info
