I allow my dogs/cats anywhere. I don't think its neccesary to keep them off of anything except brand new furniture.

Well, I think It is neccesary to keep them out out of the kitchen because some dogs eat their own Poo poo and that discusting if they lick the conneter 'cause if the dog licks the conter after eating poo you get like some bad sickniss or something. Lice vomit or Diarria to YOU not your pet.
