Start training them as puppy's and always be consistent. Don't even let them get away with anything once!
Like I said in another thread, I swear by Cesar Milan's techniques. He's observed dogs all his life and as a result can interact and communicate with them as their "pack leader". It's extremely effective if you do it properly.
I watch his show on The Discovery Channel... He's also written books. I highly recommend him; here's his website:

Hi Kinguk. Thanks for the info. :) We have lots of dogs in the house. And recently, two cute puppies were added. So I just thought of having the puppies trained some time soon. :)

we have one who is antural fetcher. He logs tug of war, fetch and catch me if you can.
We didnt teach him he just likes it. We have another who loves ot dig up Moles.
we have a baby girl that loves to be pampered... We taughter about perfume, lip gloss and brushing and pink pillows.
Moma ia a hunter and our basset loves to roll.
we never tried to teach them tricks, that seemed a silly thing to do. When we all get outside its PUMMEL time. we lay on the ground and they all jumpo on us and tug at our clothes and pull our socks off then run away with them..
The tricks they taught us that they know how to do is pretty amazing stuff. Two have learned to open a door.
an other the fridge two know how to pick blackberries and spit them into a bucket
another learned how to sweep floor with his tail
and they all learned their own blankets and wait at the dryer. EAch has their own bowl and each knows when they are supposed to be at the dinner table. Yes we have 2 that have bench seats at teh dinner table and wait for dinner.. ist an amazing family.

We have a dog that is so smart. She is still around 4 months old and we are also planning to train her some tricks. But we don't really know how to start it. :D

start with the bacis like sit down stay ect...once they have stuff like that u can ad different things like shake take a bow spin ect....

dogs can learn from other dogs on how 2 play and play ball.. yes dont let them get away with any thing.. or they will end up ruling ur house....

How do you trained your dog using different languages? And is it easy to do?

yes it is ... say it in the language they no then say the same word in the other language that means the same thing... like 4 excample sit now i dont now if i am going to spell it right but it is plauts (german) = sit (english) and just keep doing little by little..
