My wife saw that commercial and I think we are going to get it. Our JRT whines everytime she has to have her nails trimmed.

We cut our dogs nails our selfs. You can see the vessels so just cut in front of it and you should be fine. Besides, It is not life threatening to cut to close once...They just may not like you for about 5 minutes.

I have PETCO do all of that stuff. They know where they are doing, if I try to do it it is a major risk :D

How much does Petco charge? I would consider it, but I've been broke lately.

i trimmed my cat's, usually every 2 weeks or so. I did not use the clippers, though. One time, when taking my cat to see the vet he clipped her nails with that and it seemed quite simple. They are very effective. I used a regular nail clipper, and it was a little more tricky, but she knew when i was going to cut them... i would not sneak up on her like that. Maybe soon i'll buy them... not sure yet.
