Yes, I live in VA, it's a great state, there is any kind of life style you would like from City life to contry life, I live in the suberbs, no alot of crime, yet the populatoin is pretty good, summers are hot (I's a beach state, DUHH) and winters are cold, There is the beach, and the bay, and farms, and factories, I am a city girl and the good thing about the suberbs is that you don't hear all of those cars all night long. VA's not relitivly big, it used to be before, when west virginia was part of viginia, until they seced from the Unoin (Sorry to get into the history)
Anyways, I donno how many miles there are in VA

Yes Deck there is still some hard feelings between the big federal government lovers and the state rights folk. It is going to be interesting to see how this all plays out. There are going to be more tea parties in the future. I don't know how much US news you get in Brittan but if you can, watch a little and see. People are still not happy with the government and are starting to wake up.

I donno about the nws that much

Start paying attention Coco. You are never to young to know what is going on. My husband and I make our youngest watch the news with us and then we talk about it. Don't get all your information from one source because it may not have all the facts. A good education is a gift you give yourself, which will pay off a thousand times over.

I somthimes watch 2020 with my mom and we talk about, and I watch the news in the moring somtimes too. And I somtimes read the newspaper, but the stories in there are somtimes sad, that's why I don't read it anymore.

It has been my home since we moved here in 74 from Canada. Thank you Air Force! I was born in Alaska but the military likes to move us all around the world. My father was at the end of his 20 years with the Air Force and we stayed. My parents still live close to the base. I live in one of the counties so there is a lot of farm land close by. There is also a good sized town 10 min away so we don't have to drive far to shop. It takes 10 hours to drive the commonwealth from east to west and about 6 north to south. Virginia is not a state but one of five, I think, commonwealths in the US. Don't ask me what the difference is because I am not 100% sure. I love it here even though I have traveled a lot. There are only a few other places I would move to and that would be back to Alaska or to Montana. Both states still have wide open land to live and be left alone. I had given a great deal of thought to moving to New Zealand but they have strong gun controle laws so I don't think my kind would be welcome. If you get a chance to go on holiday in the states, stop in Va. The Queen enjoyed her stay here last year for the 400th birthday of Jamestown. Traffic was a little bad that weekend, but it was worth it!

I've lived in VA all my life, my parents not, my mom was born in new york and grew up there until she was 15 or 16, she develuped a stong new yorkie akcent, it's cool, my dad was born here and he isn't a red-neck though (Alot of people in VA are rednecks I don't judge) and I am planning on living here for a long time.

Their the salt of the earth type of people Coco. I am not talking about the trash talking, different people hating, ones. But the hard working, God fearing, you get what you see people. Some folks give rednecks a bad name you know!
save_puppymill_pups
Ok, whoa buck, hang on here, what are you saying? Yew Yorkers give rednecks a "bad name" Yeah, well you can think what you want, I am a new yorker, I beleve in god, and I am hard working. You cans ay what you want, but, it doesn't make it right because geuss what? I am a new yorker, and every new yourker I know, is hard working, kind, giving and not afraid to stand up for whats right. I am not trying to make a sene here and all, but, new yorkers are everything you want in a person, and red necks are too. But, what I'm getting at here is that, well, do you came from newyork? This isn't an average conversoin from a new yorker to another
Guy "Hey red necks are crap faces"
Pther Guy "I know!"
This IS a conversoin a new yourkie would to a new yorker
"Hey what'da think of red-necks?"
" I can't judge them because I don't know many in general"
"Yes, that's like judging a book by it's cover"
Do you get my point?
