Sammy & Maxie are nest mates, meaning they came from the same clutch. We felt that with the social nature of parrots, two would be happier than one. They are very playfull and keep each other company when we are working outside the home. I don't recomend parrots to people who like a quiet house because these guys have some good lungs! We expect to have them another 30 years and have left them to our daughter in our will.
