The German Shepherds enjoy being around people and other animals, although socialization is very important for young puppies in order to preven dangerous behavior and aggression. German Shepards are very will suited to obedience with prestigious and advanced titles avaialbe to test both the dog and handler in various schutzhund trials.

my uncle has two and they are very nice dogs i love them whenever we visit we bring our dogs and they play all the time. I do have to say they are protective but you want a dog that lets you know that someone is at your door.

Mine is a mix between a german shepherd and a blue heeler and hes great with everyone. especially with small kids. Hes extremly smart for his age, loving and protective of myself and my kids. He doesnt worry to much about protecting my husband tho lol.
