Javanese Cats and Kittens

These cats have a coat which is very similar to the Balinese, and overall, the cats have a pointed coat which differs in color from the Balinese. This breed will often be called a colorpoint cat, and the reason for this is because they often display colors which are rare or odd. Some examples of such colors are white and red. The cat may also display unusual patterns and these will often include tortie or tabby.

Interactivity

Because the Javanese cat is closely related to both the Balinese cat and the Siamese cat, it is susceptible to the same genetic disorders that are prevalent in these breeds. However, the defects will often be a result of active lines, and as time goes on, they are becoming more rare. The Javanese cat is one of the most social cat breeds in existence, and can even become depressed if they remain isolated for extended periods of time. The Javanese is regarded as being a playful animal, and they are very skilled at jumping. At the same time, I should note that Javanese cats are known for becoming obese when they are not given the proper amount of exercise.

About the only additional care that these cats will need is having their nails clipped.
