The Javanese Cat is a breed which has a long, silk like coat. This breed will come in a number of different colors, and much like the Siamese cat, the Javanese is known for being highly intelligent and vocal.

These cats have a coat which is very similar to the Balinese, and overall, the cats have a pointed coat which differs in color from the Balinese. This breed will often be called a colorpoint cat, and the reason for this is because they often display colors which are rare or odd. Some examples of such colors are white and red. The cat may also display unusual patterns and these will often include tortie or tabby.

Interactivity

Because the Javanese cat is closely related to both the Balinese cat and the Siamese cat, it is susceptible to the same genetic disorders that are prevalent in these breeds. However, the defects will often be a result of active lines, and as time goes on, they are becoming more rare. The Javanese cat is one of the most social cat breeds in existence, and can even become depressed if they remain isolated for extended periods of time. The Javanese is regarded as being a playful animal, and they are very skilled at jumping. At the same time, I should note that Javanese cats are known for becoming obese when they are not given the proper amount of exercise.

The Javanese is also one of the most vocal of all the cats, and will often make sounds for no apparent reason. The Javanese cat is named after the island of Java, which is one of the most populous islands on the planet. This cat is regarded as being a breed that is purchased by people who are looking for a bit of spice. While the cat has an appearance that is both elegant and fragile, the cat is actually quite strong. The Javanese could be called a breed of contradictions, because the elegant coat hides a powerfully built body that is capable of pulling off a number of impressive athletic techniques.

Affection

These cats are known for their intelligence, and they will adapt to the schedules of their owners. They will greet their owners when they've been way for an extended period of time, and they will remind you if you've been late when it comes to feeding them. These cats are fascinating because they can use their paws to open both drawers and cabinets, and they can also play the game of fetch, an activity which has historically only been associated with dogs. Caring for these cats is simple, and their coats rarely mat. In addition to this, they shed less fur than other breeds. The ease with which the Javanese can be cared for has led to it being called the "longhair for lazy men" by some. About the only additional care that these cats will need is having their nails clipped.
