Miniature Bull Terrier Dogs and Puppies

Miniature Bull Terriers are loving similar to the standard breed and can be stubborn at times. Despite their stubbornness, these dogs make for great pets with people of limited space.

Appearance

Mini Bull Terriers have fine, short, and glossy coats that are very close to their skin similar to Standard Bull Terriers. The dogs are acceptable as white or fully colored, however blue or liver colored coats are not desirable. This dog requires very little grooming.

Mini Bull Terriers have a strong build with a full body and muscular shoulders. Similar to the standards, Mini Bull Terriers have a head that is "egg-shaped" and is flat on top with a Roman muzzle. The eyes of the Mini Terrier are closely set and triangular. The ears of the Terrier are erect and not crpped and the tail is carried horizontally. They usually live to their upper teens.

Temperament

Bull Terriers are commonly known courageous and stubborn. The dogs don't realize their size and will confront dog's of much bigger size without backing down. The Mini Bull Terrier, with the right training is a very amicable dog and confrontations can be avoided. This belligerent characteristic is prevalent in both the standard and the Miniature Bull Terrier. The Miniature Bull Terrier is the same mentality as the standard version. The dogs are very playful and energetic. The dogs also love people but don't necessarily get along ith other pets. Young children work well with the dogs but they must treat them carefully.
