What is Abby mixed with?

To the best of the hound rescue's knowledge she is half bluetic and half field (springer) spaniel. But I have to wonder if there is pointer in there. That is the problem with some of the hunt clubs around here. Sometimes there are unauthorized breeding between the gun dogs and the treeing dogs. When that happens the puppys end up at the rescue or worse, killed. Our Bonnie was in the same boat. Redbone coonhound / bull mastif mix.

Where do you think the dogs from hunt club come from? If you ask me they are from breeders and they have some "Defect" in their hocks, or bitches can't give birth.

I am sure that that is true someplaces but around here the hounds have been in the family for generations and good hunting dogs have premium stud fees.

I don't know the hound group that well, only terrier group. I am an expert in that area!

Oh we know our hounds, dear to our hearts are the coonhounds! Bluetics, redbones, treeing walkers, black n tan, and plot. Great deer hounds all of them and quite musical. Their bay warms the heart.

my friend breeds pitbulls,i volenter at shelters and i train dogs (Hobby, i just train MY dogs, so i'm not as a job.
And I have to tell you all something, I am not a vet, I was just trying to make a point about pitbulls, they are nice dogs, I mean, I was just tring to make a point, I mean who would you belive? A guy who has pitbulls or a vet who knows all about them? I've wanted to be a vet for years, please don't be mad, I want to be honest with this, I felt guitly.

I wouldn't be mad with you thunder. Even if you lied. Now a days, people lie all the time online. But, that doesn't make it right! And I could belive that your last name really wasn't cherive it sounded so cheesy. I could so how you would want to do that, say your a vet to make a ponit across.
Give him a breck, come on! What did he do to you, and you are welcome to this site even if you lied!
P.S, does your friend help you breed the pits or do you help him, or do you not work with him?

It's because a lot of people think they are evil and who would you beleve more? A vet who knows alot abot breed or sombody who just owns one?

let me tell you something thunder pit l would belive someone how has a dog and owns than a vet.Vets have no idea about dog breeds at all they just no about the medical side of things

great we have something in common i train red line case for people and also protection train and l also breed train pits as well and l am a little shocked that you breed pits why would you have pit mixes as a breeder of this great breed l only have pure pits so they stay true to the breed

I help my friend breed them, I like to help the pits in the shelter too. I train as a hobby though, not as a living.

I WOULD forgive him, because he learned his lessin. but I would want him to tell the truth from now on, Thunderpitbull likes the Community, and the Community likes him. Who hasn't lied? I only know FEW whom admit it and say sorry. He is a role model. Admiting his mistake, and saying sorry.
