He and his mate (also a

He and his mate (also a gold) have spawned many times in the tank they share with the wild forms. Next to the snowflake moray eel, they are mommy's favorite fish. She also keeps festivums, keyholes, severums, corys, clowns (both salt and fresh) spiny eels, loaches, bettas and a bushynose pleco.

spawned means the female

spawned means the female lays eggs and the male fertalizes them. For chiclids it is an external process. Both parents clean a spot for the eggs and after spawning guard the eggs and fri once they hatch. Fri are baby fish.
